DTU Bioinformatics Professor of Metagenomics at the Technical University of Denmark, with a PhD in Bioinformatics and Molecular Evolution from Uppsala University, Sweden and has been working in the genome/metagenome sequencing field for over 20 years. Works in collaborations with scientific groups with widely different interests from all over the world and is constantly exploring new areas within the world utilising NextGen Sequencing, Omics, Big Data and Artificial Intelligence.

UNL - Lisbon Biologist with a PhD in Environmental Sciences - Stress and Pollution. She became interested in the issue of microplastics and marine litter and its impacts on the biota, which is currently her main research interest, looking at distribution and abundance on the Portuguese coast their sources and sinks, and the effects of microplastics contamination by persistent organic pollutants on marine organisms.

University of Amsterdam Professor of General Microbiology at the University of Amsterdam and specialized in photosynthesis. Is one of Photanol B.V. co-founders. Chairman of the Department of Chemistry, director of the Research School BioCentrum Amsterdam. Author of more than 300 papers in a wide range of international microbiological, biochemical and biophysical scientific journals. Research interests: Signal-transduction mechanisms and bioenergetics of pro- and eukaryotic microorganisms.

CONFAP Holds a PhD in Literature (1999) and is a Professor at the Federal University of Goiás - UFG, where served as Coordinator of Postgraduate Programmes and as Dean of Faculty of Linguistics and Literature. She is a researcher in the fields of literary criticism and anthropology with books and papers published. Currently she is President of Goiás State Research Foundation - FAPEG, and President of the Brazilian National Council for the State Funding Agencies - CONFAP

ITV Graduated in Medicine with a M.Sc. and PhD in Molecular Biology from the Federal University of São Paulo. Post-Doctorate in neurophysiology at UCLA. Currently Executive Manager of Technology and Innovation of Vale S.A. and Director of Vale Technological Institute. He is also vice-president of the ANPEI since 2016. He is interested in neuronal plasticity, basic acupuncture mechanisms, epilepsy, neuronal degeneration, stem cells, physiology and sleep pathophysiology, ST&I management.

R&D Coordinator at Cristália Produtos QuÃmicos e Farmacêuticos, Brazil (2014-15). International R&D experience at University of Innsbruck (Austria, 2012-13) and Uppsala University (Sweden, 2010). Involved in multiple preclinical projects focused on in silico and in vitro development of drug candidates.

Within the Brazilian National Council of State Funding Agencies – CONFAP, is advisor for International Cooperation between European Union & Brazil. Specialised in EU-Brazil cooperation, has worked for the European Commission and for numerous Governmental Institutions, Research Institutions, Funding Agencies and Innovation environments in Brazil and Europe.
